UPCOMING CLASS

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation all classes are indefinitely postponed. We hope to see you again for classes in the future!

Next Step Classes

The following classes will commence with a private lesson during HON hours. Subsequent classes are during “Help Class Time”.

Sampler classes are offered on the beginner/intermediate level and also the intermediate/advanced or advanced level.

Beginner/Intermediate Sampler  is a 12”x12” square on 13m, 3 “ or 4” squares – you pick the 2 to 4 colors you like – we choose “variation” threads based on your colors – and together we pick stitches and color placement. The cost is $80 plus threads and first lesson (private) is scheduled during HON hours. Subsequent classes are during “Help/Class Time”.

Intermediate/Advanced Sampler is a challenging, creative daisy shaped canvas.

The class teaches the stitcher to dissect and decide how they are going to stitch each part.  With this piece, decisions need to be made about what style, colors, threads, and stitches will be used. The first lesson (private) is scheduled during HON hours. Subsequent classes are during “Help/Class Time”.

This is a tough but very rewarding class and the end result is quite spectacular.

Floral Class  Pick from two popular flower canvases by Melissa Shirley. Make it into a mirror, tray, framed piece or pillow. The cost is $90 (including stitch guide) plus threads. Begin with a private lesson then continue during the Help/Class Time.

Beginner/Intermediate Elk Class is about color work.  Stitch Tapestry Tent’s “Elk in the Snow”. Finish into a framed mirror or a pillow or …. ? The cost (including stitch guide and threads) is $150. Begin with a private lesson  scheduled during HON hours. Subsequent classes are during Help/Class Times”.
